The Big Tail of the Archenemy I Fell For

Read before starting: 1. A goofy, sharp-tongued cat shou x a cold-on-the-outside, restless-on-the-inside merman gong. 2. The River God is the one you’re thinking of. 3. The cover was drawn carelessly, so please don’t complain about it.

Happy ending, both leads are each other’s first and only.

Lin Yi is the River God of Changhua, in charge of over a hundred streams, rivers, and waterfalls, big and small. She has everything, yet she looks down on Dan Xi, the Sea God who lives just across the embankment.

Why is her territory bigger than mine!?

Why does all my water flow into her territory?!

Unacceptable.

So her favorite thing to do is lie on the embankment and hurl taunts until the other god is left fuming.

“Behold the power of the great River God~”

Later, when the river source dries up and she has nowhere else to go, she takes two axes and nervously knocks on the Sea God’s door.

“Um... tell me, did you drop this gold axe, or this silver axe?”

Lin Yi gets her wish and moves into the Sea God’s home, but then she’s utterly enchanted by that fragrant, lovely tail. One sniff, and she can eat three bowls of rice.

Just looking at it makes her drool, panting like a starving wolf.

So she takes her axe and knocks on the Sea God’s door again:

“Um... can I trade this axe for your tail?”

Dan Xi shakes her head and points at Lin Yi.

Lin Yi gets it. “Me... I mean, I’d be okay with that too?”
