#A story about a straight friend becoming a boyfriend#
My buddy fell in love. His guy was straight.
My straight friend fell in love too. His guy was straight.
Are all straight guys these days bodhisattvas? How are they so easy to turn?
Meng Ran: Then grant me a bodhi... I mean, a straight guy too!
He should be handsome, long-legged, excellent in every way, and have a good personality. Got anyone?
The day after Meng Ran made his wish, a campus heartthrob from the computer science department landed in their dorm.
Handsome, long-legged, excellent in every way, good personality, and straight.
The catch was, they already knew each other. They'd been childhood friends.
Not just childhood friends, either. He was the one Meng Ran had secretly loved for years, with no hope of ever getting together.
Meng Ran: ...Come on, God. That's just cruel.
A straight guy is someone who, when you like him, doesn't know it. That's bad enough, but then he keeps messing up your dates, one after another. If you don't make a fuss and stop talking to him, he thinks you don't consider him a friend. If you get mad at him, he thinks he's completely innocent.
Meng Ran: Ah! You damn straight guy!
A straight guy is someone who, when you're gay, treats you like a brother. He puts his arm around you, chats with you intimately, and occasionally gets a little too touchy. Your heart trembles so hard your soul nearly leaves your body, and then he comes out of the shower shirtless, showing off his six-pack as he wanders around the dorm. You think, might as well enjoy the view, but then he suddenly comes over and asks what you're doing. Feeling his hormones closing in, your heart races.
Meng Ran: Ahhh, straight guys are so hot.
A straight guy is someone who, when you confess that you like him, looks at you in confusion and says, "It's not April Fools' Day today."
Meng Ran: Screw you!
A straight guy is someone who likes you, but you don't know it. He doesn't even know it himself.
Meng Ran: …
Lu Ouxun is straight. He and Meng Ran are close simply because they're friends and get along well. At least, that's what he's always thought.
Meng Ran comes out to him and tells him he likes men.
Lu Ouxun: So what? There are gays everywhere.
Meng Ran talks with him about which guys he could try to pursue.
Lu Ouxun falls silent.
Meng Ran stares at other guys.
Lu Ouxun's mouth turns down.
Meng Ran asks someone for their WeChat.
Lu Ouxun is furious.
Meng Ran buys bubble tea for a guy.
Lu Ouxun's eyes are daggers.
Meng Ran goes on a date with someone.
Lu Ouxun feels like he's coughed up blood.
Meng Ran and...
Lu Ouxun grabs Meng Ran by the arm. "I've changed my mind. I don't approve of you liking men. There can be gays everywhere, but not you."
Meng Ran: ????
Later, Lu Ouxun finally realizes that the person Meng Ran likes is actually him. Lu Ouxun frowns, deeply confused. "You like me, but you were chasing other guys right in front of me? Don't you know what it means to be faithful to one person?"
Meng Ran mutters, "How was I supposed to know you were still in the closet?"
Lu Ouxun: "Who says I'm in the closet? I'm straight! Completely straight! I just happen to like you!"

ε This is my author's big mouth
It feels like I was in a hurry to end it after receiving complaints.
Ouch? In the end, Feifei didn't know that Zhizhi had a crush on him~ What a famous scene in the copywriting!
The extra story must include the fact that Feifei knows that Zhizhi has a crush on him! ! I just want to see him beat his chest and feet hahahahahaha
What can I say, it was my favorite part in the early stages of the story, but starting from Tao, things changed. It was not as good as the author's previous books.
I knew there would be flaws, I didn't expect them to be so obvious.
? ! ! Why is it coming to an end? Lu still doesn't know about Meng's secret love when he was a student, he hasn't gotten married yet, and he hasn't said anything about his parents yet. He has already written about his daily life as a student, and there is still a lot more that can be written. Don't be in a hurry to finish it. TAT
It feels a little short and the plot is a bit rushed, but the author's writing style is still superb. Thumbs up.
This book was a difficult journey to get through. I was a little shocked when I stopped writing.
Thanks to the author for not giving up on Xiao Ranran. Jinjiang is too tied up, making it impossible for the author to write what he wants to write, although the follow-up is rushed and lacks a lot of explanation. But I'm very happy. Xiao Ranran is happy
It was indeed rushed. In the copywriting, the plot of Lu knowing that Meng Ran had a crush on him in high school did not appear. Tao's plot should have foreshadowed Lu's coming out and getting support from his parents and family, which was not written either. Although it was said in the story that the scene with Tao and being beaten with a stick was not the original plot, I still hope that it can play the role it could have played. I hope the author will continue to work hard, whether it is his passion for writing or his ability to create plots and characters.
