After a month-long deluge, an unknown virus swept across the globe, causing terrifying mutations in plants and animals. Humans awakened various supernatural abilities, and Blue Star entered the age of the apocalypse.
Mingzhu never expected her ability to be a frog from a laid-back frog-raising game she'd once played.
But she didn't even survive a year in the apocalypse before she was killed by a souvenir her froggy son brought home.
After being reborn, she decisively chose to hand her froggy son over to the Empire.
"Ding-dong! Your froggy child is back! It brought you a travel souvenir: a controllable nuclear fusion battery!"
"Ding-dong! Your froggy child is back! It brought you a keepsake: a super mech!"
"Ding-dong! Your froggy child is back! It brought you a magical fruit!"
"..."
This time, all the high-tech products that had been useless to Mingzhu in her previous life became the foundation of the Yunxia Empire's rise!
So while other empires were still worrying about food shortages, Yunxia had already developed a wild rice variety yielding 100,000 jin per mu. While other empires trembled in fear of terrifying alien beasts, Yunxia's soldiers piloted mechs to clear them out and began reclaiming their lost homes. While other empires were scheming to steal Yunxia's secrets to becoming stronger, Yunxia's spaceships had already entered orbit and set out to conquer the stars...
And Mingzhu, as her froggy child's real mom, became a national treasure and the darling of the whole country, living the carefree life of leisure she'd always dreamed of!
