The main story is complete~
Thank you all for your support~ I might start writing I Open an Inn in Dream of the Red Chamber next. If you're interested, feel free to add it to your reading list. I'll also be writing the other follow-up novels!
My next novels, Plucking the Moon and May the Princess Be Blessed, are open for advance reservations. Their blurbs are at the bottom.
Blurb for this novel: In her previous life, Mo Yusheng loved her senior martial brother so deeply that the feeling was carved into her bones.
Her senior martial brother was the regent, Cui Sidao. His courtesy name was Tanlang.
Because Tanlang was cold-faced and held great power, no one in the court or the wider realm dared call him by his courtesy name. They addressed him only as the prince.
But Cui Sidao doted on his junior martial sister, Mo Yusheng, with all his heart.
He would pick flowers for her himself, let her throw herself into his arms and act spoiled, and bend down to carefully help her put on her embroidered shoes...
Mo Yusheng thought Cui Sidao loved her. But when she confessed her feelings, he said he cared for her only as a sister.
Later, he even personally chose a good match for her and urged her to marry.
In a fit of anger, Mo Yusheng married, but unexpectedly died on her wedding day.
Reborn, faced with the cold-faced Tanlang's boundless affection, Mo Yusheng could only suppress her love and try to treat Cui Sidao as an older brother.
*
Cui Sidao loved his junior martial sister with all his heart.
But at some point, she stopped being close to him.
One day, she even told him she had fallen for someone.
Cover character design: Yiyue Yi. Cover design and layout: McFlurry.
Content warnings:
1. [There may be some angst]
2. The story does not begin with the heroine being reborn. It starts in her previous life and continues through her rebirth and beyond.
Blurb for Plucking the Moon:
A gentle, flirtatious empress × a jade-faced, blood-soaked general
[Heroine's Perspective]
Liu Hanxun's elder half-sister, Empress Wanxian, died in Emperor Hongzhao's harem, leaving behind a young daughter.
To bring honor to the family, they sent Liu Hanxun into the palace. She was also willing to enter the palace to investigate the truth behind her sister's death, and became Emperor Hongzhao's empress consort.
She never expected that her sister had died at Emperor Hongzhao's hands. After thinking it over for one night, Liu Hanxun turned her attention to the feared general Qin Min.
She lured Qin Min into love and awakened his ambition to rebel.
After the rebellion succeeded and Emperor Hongzhao swallowed gold and killed himself, she set fire to the empress's Changle Palace. Planning to take her sister's daughter through a secret passage and escape to Jiangnan, she never expected the new emperor to surround them with the imperial guards along the way.
Liu Hanxun went from deposed empress to empress of the new dynasty.
[Hero's Perspective]
Qin Min first met the empress consort at a palace banquet held to celebrate his victorious return.
He had just returned from the battlefield, and the pent-up rage and murderous intent he had brought back with him were impossible to suppress. The entire court feared his ferocity.
The moon shone like frost that autumn night, and he went outside to clear the wine from his head.
There, in the middle of a pavilion, he saw the dignified and gentle empress consort. She had taken off her shoes and socks, and stood barefoot on a carpet in Western Regions attire, discussing dance with a female attendant from the Western Regions.
Her snow-white feet turned as her soft, moonlit waist seemed ready to snap. Every frown and smile was breathtaking.
1v1, both leads are sexually inexperienced
Blurb for May the Princess Be Blessed:
Yun Yining was a princess, cherished by the emperor and empress. Unfortunately, she had been born with a muddled mind. Though she had come of age, her mental faculties were those of a child.
The emperor and empress were always afraid she would be bullied, and could not bear to be apart from her. So when they made an imperial tour of Jiangnan, they took her along.
An accident left Yun Yining with amnesia.
Her mind cleared, but she could not remember the past. While she was recovering from her injuries, a handsome young gentleman named Lu Fanli, with a bright, moonlike face, carefully looked after her. He also told her that they were husband and wife.
In a thatched cottage, Yun Yining slept on a somewhat lumpy bed and watched her husband, Lu Fanli, brew medicine, cook for her, carefully help her put on her shoes, and cheer her up.
Her affection for him grew, and she sweetly and naturally called him
It didn't explain why the heroine said she had a sweetheart before (from the male protagonist's perspective). It would be nice if it could be written more. I feel that the male protagonist's transformation is not complete... It's hard to say whether he will stubbornly make decisions for the heroine and do her good in the future...
Let's just say, looking at his weak posture, it seems like he won't live to see tomorrow.
To put it bluntly, if the regent chopped up other people's pieces and put them in the box, would the people in the Northern Desert also recognize them?
So, in the last life, was my senior brother about to die? :)
Ah, why don't you let senior brother remember the past life? Woohoo. Junior sister feels sad for something that happened before and may happen again in the future. She also has to think of a way back. It's really heartbreaking.
I'm happy, but I'm also curious about how the author managed to turn the tide in the remaining chapters.
Emmm If the emperor's uncle is the emperor's aunt, shouldn't he be the emperor's sister-in-law? The emperor's brother is the emperor's sister-in-law. There is a difference in seniority, so it's easy for me to make a scene hahaha
It's too fast. Can you add some extras?
Finally got it. . . .
Can't the junior sister know that the senior brother really likes her? It's so sweet after rebirth, but I still have to torture my senior brother!
