Little Qiongqi was abandoned by his parents as soon as he was born because of his fur color.
The little Qiongqi, almost starved to death, stood by the water, crying and crying. The ugly little Qiongqi in the water, with round eyes and a long tail, cried along with him.
Looking at the ugly child in the water, with no snowy white fur, no golden dragon horns, and no black wings, the little Qiongqi slapped his reflection to pieces. Between hiccups, he said, "You're so ugly!"
But the ugly little Qiongqi didn't want to starve to death either, so he had a sudden idea: he would find himself a foster dad who wouldn't mind how ugly he was.
The little Qiongqi immediately took a liking to Ye Zhan, a newly crowned Best Actor. Ye Zhan was refined, dignified, aloof, and incredibly handsome. The little Qiongqi happily wriggled into his dreams and called him Daddy in a baby voice.
His new dad was great in every way, except that he was too poor. Every day, he could only eat a tiny bit, and he had to work desperately to earn money to raise him. He wouldn't even treat himself to meat.
The little Qiongqi felt so sorry for him. With his little tummy still hungry every day, he had no choice but to look for a second foster dad. This time, he wanted someone rich enough to feed him meat every day.
The little Qiongqi took a liking to Lin Zhiqing, the youngest master chef of imperial cuisine, but his second foster dad was too lazy, cooking only two days a week. The little Qiongqi was still hungry.
He started looking for a third foster dad. The little Qiongqi clenched his fist. This time, he was definitely going to find a dad who was both rich and hardworking. So he latched onto Yun Sheng, the third dad and a domineering CEO. But Dad Yun Sheng was too busy expanding his business all over the place and often forgot to feed him. The little Qiongqi angrily began looking for a fourth foster dad: Cha Yang, an incredibly popular dessert blogger who could give him sweet cakes every day.
But the little Qiongqi still liked meat more, so he used his chubby little paws to schedule his four dads. On Mondays, he'd go to Dad Ye Zhan's for vegetables. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, he'd go to Dad Zhiqing's for imperial cuisine. On Wednesdays and Fridays, he'd go to Dad Yun Sheng's for home-style cooking. On Saturdays and Sundays, he'd go to Dad Cha Yang's for sweet cakes.
The little Qiongqi spent every day going from one dad to another, telling whichever one he was eating with that he was his absolute favorite. He lived a full and happy life.
Only later did the little Qiongqi learn that the happier he was now, the more horrifying it would be when his lies were exposed.
"Tell us. Which one of us is your absolute favorite?"
The little Qiongqi hugged his big tail and trembled...
