A preview of my upcoming novel: The Fluffy and the Slippery Swap Marriages
Yu Nian's original form was a calico cat. During his heat, he unexpectedly spent an entire night entangled with his nemesis, Lu Jingshen.
Not long afterward, he started feeling sleepy and nauseous. He thought he was just overworked and didn't pay it much mind.
During a routine checkup, he discovered that he was pregnant!
Keep it or not?
After hesitating, he decided to keep the baby.
The doctor gave him a special warning: "Without comfort from a partner, there's a much higher chance the baby will develop slowly."
So Yu Nian had no choice but to turn back into a cat and sneak into Lu Jingshen's house.
After spending time together, Yu Nian decided his nemesis wasn't all that annoying after all.
Not long afterward, he accidentally stumbled into the hidden room in Lu Jingshen's study. Every single thing inside had some connection to him.
The most eye-catching was an unsent love letter. Its paper had yellowed and its edges were badly worn, clearly because someone had often held it and rubbed it between their fingers.
One unexpected incident followed another. Yu Nian tried to run away before he was exposed, only to collide head-on with Lu Jingshen, who had come home early.
Lu Jingshen: "Are you... cold?"
Yu Nian, stark naked, shook his head.
Lu Jingshen: "I think your stomach just moved."
Yu Nian, his tail puffed up: "That's my baby!"
-
Lu Jingshen had been secretly in love with Yu Nian since high school. They had known each other for years, but never even become ordinary friends. Instead, they had become enemies.
Perhaps fate took pity on him: he unexpectedly slept with the person he loved, but Yu Nian insisted nothing had happened.
Hurt, Lu Jingshen had nowhere to vent his feelings, so he could only pour his heart out to the little cat he'd found.
The cat could only meow and couldn't expose his secrets, so it was safe.
But the cat's claws were sharp. When it saw him doing something naughty on his computer, it left three bloody scratches on him.
What Lu Jingshen never expected was that the cat could not only turn into a person, but was also carrying a baby, and was the very person he'd loved for so many years.
-----The Fluffy and the Slippery Swap Marriages-----
In this world, people awaken their animal genes not long after birth.
Xia Tang and Xia Li are twins. The older brother, Xia Tang, is a jellyfish, while the younger brother, Xia Li, is a fox.
To keep the family business from falling into ruin, the current head of the Xia family decides to send the twins to marry into two powerful families, one in the north and one on the coast.
-
The head of the northern Xiao family is a gray wolf. He's ruthless and decisive in business, but has one weakness few people know about: he's allergic to fur from any animal other than wolves.
He can handle casual contact, but intimacy after marriage is out of the question. The Xia family doesn't know this, however, and sends the red fox Xia Li to marry into the family.
For the sake of business, Xiao Changfeng agrees to the alliance, intending to give Xia Li the cold shoulder until the marriage is over.
After Xia Li spends over a month alone in the empty house, Xiao Changfeng is forced to return home. There, he discovers a glass tank with a beautiful jellyfish swimming inside.
He rests his fingers against the glass, and the jellyfish wraps its tentacles around his long fingers. It feels so good that his tail appears of its own accord, drooping and swaying from side to side.
Yet when facing his new wife, Xiao Changfeng holds back and keeps a polite distance.
Until one day, drunk, he wakes to the cool, slippery feel of a jellyfish wrapped around him. He can faintly hear someone crying.
"Why don't you like me? I can glow for you."
-
The head of the coastal Chu family is an octopus with powerful tentacles. He has a secret preference: he's a hardcore fluff enthusiast.
The eldest son the Xia family sends to marry into the family, Xia Tang, is a jellyfish. Since he'd been sick of that sort of creature since childhood, Chu Xingming naturally has no interest in him.
So he keeps making excuses about being busy with work and stays at his seaside vacation home instead of going back.
A month after the wedding, Chu Xingming sees a boy at the resort, clutching a big fluffy tail and asking passersby in a pitiful voice, "Excuse me, have you seen my husband?"
Theme: A change in perspective can reveal the other side of things.
Husband, why aren't you a Jin Jian Layer? When will that book be released?
This transition caught me off guard==
When I saw this point in time, I liked the setting story very much, so I read it in one go. However, the transitions were too abrupt. Some of the transformations of humans into cats or cats into humans were confusing [loading]. There were also some details. I don't know if I read it too fast. I always felt that there was no explanation. Especially the setting of the animal family, which was covered in just a few sentences. 🙏 The story is not connected very well. After reading the last chapter, I can feel that I wanted to write it well and set it before giving birth, but I had the intention but not enough energy. It made me feel that the ending was too hasty. Finally, thank you for bringing this story [make me healthy]
Damn, please politely ask if the order of chapter 22 is out of order. Why does the plot feel incoherent? 😳😳
It's such a beautiful short story!
My senior year of high school will be next. I wish me success. Come on, I will come back this time next year. 💪
What color will it be?
Ouch, take care of me carefully like this👀
Wow [Let me be healthy] Do you still use copywriting?
I feel like I'm more nervous than the person involved (when will I be a copywriter? Damn it👀)
