Wild Pigeons

Western University has two famous figures:

Song Qingyi, the Foreign Languages Department's campus beauty, is quiet and elegant, with a gentle nature.

Lu Jinyu, a musical prodigy from a prominent family, is flamboyant and carefree, as though nothing can catch his interest. Yet he has countless admirers.

"All the other girls like Lu Jinyu. What about you?" a classmate asked Song Qingyi.

The young woman fluttered her long lashes and shook her head with a smile. "I don't know him well. I'm not interested in him."

During a game of Truth or Dare, she was dared to ask Lu Jinyu, in the private room next door, for his WeChat and confess to him. Song Qingyi lost the game, so she had no choice but to steel herself and do it.

Beneath the dim lights, Lu Jinyu lounged on a leather sofa, a cigarette glowing crimson between his fingers. After a long gaze between them, the aloof, arrogant young man said, as if to get back at her, "Sorry, I'm not interested in you."

That night, the young man wrapped an arm tightly around Song Qingyi's waist. Reeking of alcohol, Lu Jinyu smiled teasingly. "Didn't you tell your classmates you barely know me?"

Soft kisses drifted through the room, filling it with moonlight.

With a glowing cigarette pinched between his fingers, the man watched the smoke curl away and clicked his tongue. "After all this, you're still going to say we barely know each other?"
