Making Chinese Cuisine in the Interstellar Era

Liu Nong transmigrates into a futuristic world where food culture is extremely impoverished. Not only has the Chefs' Bureau blacklisted him, but a System has also appeared out of nowhere and ordered him to defeat the Chefs' Bureau and revive Chinese cuisine.

He recalls the dishes supposedly made by the Chefs' Bureau's top chef last night: the braised pork was dry and tough, the shredded potatoes were undercooked, the chicken soup was greasy, and the golden soup was bland.

Liu Nong: That's it? I made better food than that when I was seven.

Viewers: Hah, you sure have a lot of nerve. If you can cook, I'll eat my keyboard!

Who would have thought Liu Nong really could cook?

With the same ingredients, Liu Nong made braised pork that was rich but not greasy, shredded potatoes that were crisp but fully cooked, chicken soup that was aromatic and mellow, and golden soup that was smooth and delicious.

The viewers immediately changed their tune: I'll eat my keyboard right now, just let me taste these dishes! Compared to Liu Nong's cooking, the Chefs' Bureau's food is a complete waste of ingredients!

Nobody knows how to cook?

How could Chinese people not know how to cook? Liu Nong immediately shared his recipes and livestreamed step-by-step cooking lessons, setting off a wave of people across the universe learning to cook.

The Chefs' Bureau accused him of stealing recipes?

Liu Nong retaliated by teaching a whole series of dishes, covering every technique from stir-frying, quick-frying, deep-frying, braising, and searing to steaming, stuffing, stewing, simmering, and more.

The viewers drooled, the Chefs' Bureau was left speechless, and the System happily followed Liu Nong around, winning without lifting a finger. The world, which had suffered under the Chefs' Bureau for far too long, exploded with excitement, and the number of people watching Liu Nong's livestream quickly surpassed a trillion.

But gradually, people noticed that more and more people were appearing on camera...

Viewers: The Federation's chief, the Empire's crown prince, and the Beastman God of War are one thing, but why is a mermaid here too? Aren't you afraid Liu Nong will slice you up?

The mermaid prince looked innocent. But his food really is delicious!
