[Sentinel and Guide] The Princess Is Rejected by the General

Dark Sentinel top x cross-dressing Guide bottom / Knight x Princess

As the least favored princess in the empire, Ling Nanxing has only one asset: a knightly order made up of fallen nobles. Its commander, Li Helan, is the only person he trusts.

On the day a beast tide invaded the capital, the mark of Ling Nanxing and Li Helan’s secret union was exposed to the public.

Ling Nanxing thought: At worst, they could admit to their relationship and get married as a matter of course.

But at the military tribunal, Li Helan said, “I forced the princess.” He would rather endure exile for their secret union than marry the princess.

Injured and seated in a wheelchair, Ling Nanxing stared blankly at the eyes fixed on him.

At his coming-of-age ceremony, Li Helan had once knelt before him and kissed the back of his hand, solemnly swearing to serve him unto death.

The vow still rang in his ears, yet Li Helan had betrayed him.

“Li Helan, marry me. If we marry, you can avoid exile. Please?”

“No.” Li Helan turned away without hesitation.

Ling Nanxing tried to chase after him, but fell helplessly to the ground. The injury to his knee left him without the strength to stand again. All he could do was crawl forward like some wretched insect. Just as he neared the hem of Li Helan’s clothes, Li Helan left him behind for good. “Li Helan!”

“Don’t you dare leave! I’ll hate you! I’ll never forgive you!”

Years later, Li Helan returned to the imperial capital with his Mulan mech corps, a force that could intimidate the entire universe. Just as he had sworn all those years ago, he knelt before the princess, humbly lifted her hand, and asked softly, “May I still kiss the back of Your Highness’s hand?”

The princess’s slender hand trembled uncontrollably.
