(On hiatus. The author has been busy lately and got inspired to start another story _(:D)∠)_. I'll keep writing this one slowly once things settle down. Don't worry, I won't abandon you _(:D)∠)_.)
A canon-focused ensemble story about the Marauders' generation
Original female lead, paired with Sirius Black
Timeline runs from the Marauders' generation starting school through the final battle of the next generation
A great deal of the plot involves canon characters and their stories
(Qiaqia will keep writing it bit by bit. If you're interested, feel free to bookmark it for now!)
Although there's still no blurb, I think I should give a brief introduction to the premise. To avoid spoilers, I'll only write about what's been revealed in the published chapters, and I'll update this as the story progresses.
The heroine, Danielle Potter, is James's twin sister. A late-in-life child, she was doted on by the Potters. She and James are constantly at odds and have opposite personalities. She's shrewd but avoids trouble, low-key and friendly toward Muggles, and has sound values with no tolerance for prejudice. She has a sharp intuition and genuinely cares about people and things. A proper Slytherin and a proper Potter, she's currently very fond of Sirius and Lily.
(Also, there's one thing I absolutely have to make clear about the theme.
This follows canon, and all the essential events will happen. I won't whitewash or demonize anyone. The Marauders' bullying and Snape's obsession with the Dark Arts are both included. No one in this story is perfect, possibly except Lily. The heroine also has a major character flaw, but I won't reveal it yet to avoid spoilers.
I won't demonize either Slytherin or Gryffindor. Although the heroine is in Slytherin, the story will lean toward Gryffindor, and most of the positive characters will be Gryffindors. Gryffindor would naturally be the main force fighting Voldemort.
I also don't want to reduce the houses to stereotypes. Every character has a distinct personality. Not all Slytherins are bad, and not all Gryffindors are good. They simply have different ways of dealing with people and different life circumstances. In war, this can make it seem as if one side is righteous and the other evil. (This is worth keeping in mind, and may be the only difference in values between this story and canon.)
In short, I want to write a story set in wartime. Apart from the inevitable villains such as Voldemort, everyone is a victim of war.)
Theme: An ensemble story about the Marauders' generation, following canon, paired with Sirius Black.
Sorry, sorry for not updating. I spent all my entertainment time watching dramas in the past few days, hahaha. Then this time I revised the previous chapters together. Basically, it was just a change of words, except for the background of the fourth chapter, which was slightly changed.
Waiting for the chapters to be reviewed!! Collect it first!!
I almost thought you were cheating!
Oh my God, you actually updated it! Shocked me! I've been waiting for a long time!
Great, great, great, but after going to Slytherin, will Dahl be bullied?
Great! But I don't think Professor McGonagall would say I don't want you in front of all the teachers and students. After all, she is a good and responsible teacher, and Potter and the others are still freshmen.
Come on ^0^~
This is the first time I saw the setting of twins (dragon and phoenix). I love it. I love it. Collect and follow up.
