My Little Mermaid Is So Adorable

Back then, the frail boy had yet to become the fairy-tale master renowned around the world.

On a cold winter night, a beautiful mermaid girl with black hair and red lips entered his world.

She was fleeing from greedy fishermen who were hunting her down. She had been shot and was covered in blood, fear and pleading written all over her delicate face. She clutched his lapel and begged him on her knees.

"Take me home..." she said.

The boy couldn't make out her voice, so he had to lower his head and lean close to her lips. As he did, he caught the faint scent of jasmine mixed with the metallic smell of blood. She meant beauty, but she also meant danger. In the end, he bent down and carried her away.

Much later, someone asked him, "Mr. Andersen, where did you get the inspiration for The Little Mermaid?"

The fairy-tale writer fell silent for a moment. When the reporter looked up at him, he saw tenderness in every line of his face. With a fond, yearning air, Andersen replied, "Because I once rescued a girl in a snowstorm, and she happened to have a beautiful fish tail."

Coming soon: A Star-Rearing Handbook

A star turned into a boy and fell into Lin Tiantian's home.

He was an extraordinarily adorable boy, with round, dark eyes, long eyelashes, and dimples when he smiled. The moment Tiantian saw him, her heart began to pound.

Tiantian hid the boy in her bedroom, laying a sheet and a blanket under the bed for him. That was where he lived.

When Tiantian ate, she secretly saved tasty food for him.

She used her allowance to buy him nice clothes.

It was just like having a pet. When she was unhappy, she could even touch the boy's face.

But stars in the sky must eventually return to the sky. Tiantian didn't want him to leave. She wanted to hide him away forever.
