Actually, I've Been Single Since Birth Too

Lu Shenglin is thirty, and Qin Huan is twenty-eight. One is an aloof beauty with a distinguished and spotless family background, the ideal match for countless wealthy young women of marriageable age. The other is an actress with a less-than-stellar reputation. They happen to be at the perfect age for blind dates. Qin Huan isn't impressed by her own date, but she does take a liking to Lu Shenglin, who's on a blind date at the same restaurant. After leaving, she runs after him and pretends to stumble into him. But the man in the impeccably tailored suit only looks at her indifferently, making no move to catch her. He has an air that warns people not to cross him. Qin Huan steadies herself and doesn't push her luck. That night, she's wearing a red dress. Its hem, like a flame-red rose or a pool of red, brushes lightly against the man's perfectly straight suit trousers. No one sees his Adam's apple bob. His voice, however, is as clear and cold as mountain snow. "What is it?" Qin Huan tilts her face up, leaning closer to him. "Mr. Lu, since both our blind dates failed, how about giving each other five minutes?" * Some people say Qin Huan's striking, sultry looks are beautiful, but too vulgar. But one day, they see her attending an event on Lu Shenglin's arm. Someone of his standing is actually showing up to support a little star? Everyone is stunned. They'd all thought Lu Shenglin was the sort of man untouched by worldly desires. They never expected that even a man as refined and self-possessed as him couldn't escape the ordinary. ** Only Qin Huan knows Lu Shenglin's other side. She casually greeted a friend, and that person happened to be linked to her by a scandal neither of them even knew about. So Lu Shenglin pulled her into a lounge and kissed her fiercely. Every breath she takes as they kiss is a bewitching potion poured straight into his ear! [Ordinary Woman vs. Aloof Beauty] [Although the leads are almost thirty, they're each other's first love: pure and sensual] [I originally wanted to write a revenge-driven heroine, but after thinking it over, I decided to focus on sweetness and healing while developing the characters. The heroine comes from a humble background and has been looked down on and bullied at school. Both her career and her love life cross class barriers.] Theme: Work hard at life, and things will get better.
