I Want to Eat Vegetables (Interstellar)

Synopsis: The emperor's empress gave birth to a "chicken."

This chick of a crown prince had zero mental power. In an empire where status was decided by strength, he was nothing but a castoff.

At the time, on a small planet at the edge of the empire, its richest merchant offered his entire fortune to have the disgraced crown prince marry into the Cheng family.

The Cheng family had a famously useless son named Cheng Jingfei. Apart from a handsome face, Cheng Jingfei had no redeeming qualities.

"Hey, my beast form is a pretty kingfisher that can fly. What about yours? Are you really a chicken?" Cheng Jingfei asked curiously, looking at the disgraced crown prince who had married into his family. He'd heard that chickens were only good for eating and being eaten.

The self-conscious crown prince said nothing, simply curling up alone in a corner.

"Dad! Why did you pay so much for a mute husband?" Cheng Jingfei shouted, demanding a refund.

Unable to take it any longer, Cheng Jingfei decided to secretly dump his mute husband on another planet.

But when he saw the disgraced crown prince shivering from the cold, Cheng Jingfei's heart softened after all, and he took him back.

One day, disaster struck. Just as Cheng Jingfei thought he was about to die, the disgraced crown prince revealed his beast form and bravely drove off the villains.

"..." As everyone mocked the crown prince's beast form, Cheng Jingfei blinked hard. Was that a chicken? Damn it, that was clearly the phoenix of China!
