Ancient Times

This story is temporarily on hiatus. I'll continue once I've figured out how to write the outline.

Blurb: College student He Zhonggu transmigrates into the body of the only licentiate in a remote mountain village, a gambling wastrel to boot.

The He family is dirt poor, with nothing but bare walls. They also have a three-year-old son and a virtuous wife. The original owner looks down on his thin, sallow wife and spends his days carousing in the pleasure quarter with a pack of good-for-nothings. He beats his little brother and wife whenever he feels like it, and couldn't be happier.

After transmigrating, He Zhonggu looks at his wife and little brother kneeling on the ground and decides to undergo a dramatic change of character, abandon his rotten ways, and become a good man.

Note: A slow-burn farming story about building a fortune.

Theme: We should work hard, strive forward, and make something of ourselves.
