Chen Yingfeng - Jin Ningning
Adorably sweet young landlady vs. aloof, haughty young master (both spoiled and proud)
The inner door was open. A boy in a black jersey stood outside, radiating arrogance, both haughty and coquettish.
The boy knocked softly.
"Hey, mister, the water's off on the seventh floor. Can I borrow your key while I'm here?" His voice was unmistakably youthful.
The girl lay on the sofa in a camisole and shorts. Through the outer glass door, she could just make out someone standing outside.
She opened the door.
"What is it?" The girl kept her eyes on her game and didn't look up.
Her skin was so fair it was almost translucent. She had slender limbs and a shoulder-length bob with slightly curled ends, neat and full of life.
"Who are you? Where's the landlord?" The boy looked her up and down, then couldn't help laughing.
"Just get to the point." The girl's fingers never stopped moving as she played, her gaze fixed on the screen.
"This isn't something you can handle," the boy said, his clear, crisp voice drifting into her ears.
"How do you know I can't handle it?" She thought he sounded full of contempt.
"Come in." The girl still didn't spare him a glance.
"You can make the decisions here?"
"Why can't I? Who do you think you're looking down on?"
"Room 707 has no water. Can you fix it?"
At last, the girl quit the game and impatiently opened her contacts.
"Hey, Dad."
