The CEO Has Been Acting Strange Lately

Pei Gu has always worked diligently as a CEO, earning a reputation as a 24-karat gold, genuinely great client. Then, out of nowhere, he gets possessed by the domineering CEO from an old novel called Love Me: Little Wildcat, Don’t Run...

From then on, his secretary can only clutch the hair he has so little of and silently despair every day: How do I explain to the boss that saying "Kingdom Group is finished" won’t actually make the Wang family’s company go bankrupt?

In the novel, Pei Gu is a playboy CEO who has every flaw of a classic domineering CEO. He loves saying cheesy lines so embarrassing they make your toes curl.

"You’ve successfully caught my attention."

"You’re playing with fire."

"It’s getting cold. Make the Wang family’s company go bankrupt."

He rattles off lines like these without a second thought, then ends up in the body of the serious CEO Pei Gu, twenty years in the future.

From Gu Chen’s point of view, all he sees is his rival suddenly losing interest in work one day. When they meet face-to-face, the man starts provoking him and delivering ridiculously embarrassing pickup lines. But, well, this version of him has successfully caught Gu Chen’s interest.
