I’ll See You Wed

Wang Runqing is a domineering CEO, the head of a genuine trillion-yuan technology conglomerate. He also happens to think being single is great and has no intention of getting married.

Xiao Lan is a web novelist. She earns over ten thousand yuan a month, doing better than some and worse than others, and is happily single. She, too, believes freedom is precious and men are expendable.

When two people equally accustomed to the freedom of being single meet by chance, and a series of unpredictable events follow, will they still insist on staying single and rejecting love?

Their first encounter at a restaurant:

Wang Runqing: Miss, isn't it rather rude to do that right in front of me?

Xiao Lan: Sir, sorry, I couldn't help myself... Ahem, how about I buy you lunch to make it up to you?

At the time, one blind date after another was finding fault with him and rejecting him, while she stood with her back to him, happily gossiping about him with her best friend.

Their next encounter at her apartment:

Wang Runqing: Miss, I'd like to ask you for a favor.

Xiao Lan: ...Sir, we barely know each other!

Wang Runqing: I'll pay you. All you have to do is pretend to marry me...

With a sharp smack, Xiao Lan slapped his hand, rolled her eyes, and said, "Sir, if you're sick, go take some medicine."

At the time, he had been startled awake by a nightmare and just wanted to find someone immediately to fulfill his mother's wish. She, meanwhile, thought the man in front of her was crazy.

After they got married:

Xiao Lan: So you're the CEO of a trillion-yuan company?

Wang Runqing: ...Yeah. I'm just a programmer.

Xiao Lan: Ha!

This time, he'll do everything in his power to keep her by his side and spend the long years ahead with her.

I want to spend my whole life indulging you. Will you marry me?

Theme: If you're in love, pursue it bravely!
