Meng Tangyue grew up with her grandfather at the foot of the mountain.
She was gentle by nature and skilled at painting landscapes.
In her pale-colored qipao, she seemed utterly unconcerned with worldly affairs.
When her grandfather needed treatment, she moved away from the mountain,
and then, for the first time, met her unseen fiance, He Jin.
At their first meeting, the man stood in a shadowy corner, leaning against a window with an intricate pattern, dressed in an extravagantly elegant, old-fashioned gentleman's style.
His gaze turned to her nonchalantly, its meaning unclear.
Everyone said that although He Jin, heir to the He family, was a refined and courteous gentleman, he was also dangerous and unfathomable.
Unaccustomed to socializing, Meng Tangyue instinctively avoided him several times.
Later, at the He residence, she was cornered against a wall.
He Jin stood before her, his captivating peach-blossom eyes narrowing slightly. Then he spoke in a refined, elegant voice: "Miss Meng, you needn't avoid me."
-
A month later, Meng Tangyue obediently followed the arrangements and married He Jin.
After the wedding, Meng Tangyue was quiet and gentle, just as their agreement stipulated. She never overstepped the line.
He Jin, however, was different. He leisurely took off his suit cuff links,
a faint look in his eyes.
He looked at Meng Tangyue with a dark gaze and chuckled softly. "Mrs. He, has no one ever taught you that a man's words are never to be trusted?"
Coming Soon: Rhine Castle
When Zhi Jing was stranded on the streets of a foreign country, she wandered into a forest.
As she fainted, she vaguely saw a wolfhound emerge ahead of her.
A man stood at the top of the slope, holding its leash, dignified and gentlemanly.
His brown eyes swept over Zhi Jing nonchalantly, inscrutable.
-
When Zhi Jing woke again, she was in a dark, lavish room.
She rose from the bed, and the darkness was flooded with white light.
In the dazzling brightness, Zhi Jing saw a man seated in an armchair.
His gaze turned indifferently toward Zhi Jing. A beast that had long lain in wait lurked in his pupils, cold and dense.
Zhi Jing sensed danger instinctively.
After watching her for a moment, the man casually raised a hand and patted the wolfhound lying on the floor. In a low voice, he said, "Poor little rabbit, would you like something to eat?"
-
Zhi Jing settled in the mysterious, imposing old castle.
She obediently and quietly kept the man company.
Everyone called Anderson a loner, and Zhi Jing was the only one who would approach him of her own accord.
In the silence, the refined, proud man stroked Zhi Jing's soft cheek.
He asked hoarsely, "What do they say about me?"
Zhi Jing raised her eyes and answered softly, "They say you have a serious mental illness."
Anderson chuckled softly and looked at Zhi Jing, his eyes filled with obsession and darkness. His thin lips brushed her cheek.
He asked, "So, little Zhi Jing, are you going to leave me?"
