The Celestial Master Makes His Ancestors Proud in the Infinite World

Since spirits aren't allowed to manifest in human form after the founding of the nation, a trainee celestial master inherits his family's secret arts but has nowhere to use them, and lives in poverty.

One day, a cold System voice suddenly rings in his mind. "Ding dong! Congratulations, you've entered an infinite-flow game. You'll travel to countless unimaginable worlds and encounter endless terrifying demons and monsters..."

The celestial master strokes his empty wallet. A light suddenly flashes in his eyes, and he murmurs, "Demons and monsters, and endless ones at that?"

The System says smugly, "Don't worry. Fear is an emotion everyone feels..."

The celestial master cuts it off and laughs up at the sky. "A government job delivered right to my door, and one that matches my expertise! Endless work targets are here, wahahaha!"

The System: "???"

Only later does it realize what a terrifyingly powerful being it has gotten itself involved with.
