[Danganronpa] More Interesting Than It Looks

Have you heard the legend of the siren?

They say beautiful sirens use their songs to lure passing sailors.

[The current Kamukura Izuru is no different from a newborn baby. Though he should be curious about the world, his own talent leaves him unable to take an interest in anything.]

That was what Oda Satsuki wrote in her observation report.

But because he has only just been born, it is possible to instill ideas in him. Like training a newborn puppy, the first thing to teach him is who his master is. He doesn't need to know right from wrong. He only needs to obey his master.

So you sensed something was wrong, didn't you?

Oda Satsuki kept her eyes on Kamukura Izuru. As her intense emotions slowly subsided, her expression turned deeply sorrowful, and tears fell once more. "I used to have a dog. I was so, so good to him, but one day he ran away. When we met again, he bit me badly."

Her swollen eyes gazed at the silent man before her. He had not uttered a word this whole time. He simply wiped the tear from her chin, then gently touched her tear-streaked cheek.

There was no doubt he was trying to guess what she really thought.

The siren kissed him again of her own accord, and her moist lips brought the traveler’s judgment to a halt. He gently held the back of her head and easily pried open her tightly clenched teeth. A flush gradually spread across her pale face. The instant he took control, she started to pull away again, as if she had forgotten that she was the one who had lured him in.

The siren had held the power in their relationship from beginning to end. Without the lure of that song, why would the lost traveler ever have stopped?

Once, Oda Satsuki asked Hinata Hajime a question.

She asked him: In the story of Beauty and the Beast, did Belle fall in love with the prince who became a beast, or the beast who became a prince?

Hinata Hajime said that neither of them was a character in the story, so they should ask Belle herself.

Back then, Oda Satsuki had no idea that one day she would face the same choice as Belle.

When the time came to choose, she chose to run away.

But after Kamukura Izuru said those words, everything changed.

She didn't know whom Belle chose in the end, but she knew that as long as Kamukura Izuru was still Kamukura Izuru in front of her, that was enough.

[Reader's Guide]

This is the story of a sickly intelligence expert and an all-knowing, all-capable artificially created hope.

It has a lot of original plot, focusing mainly on the period when the Remnants of Despair were active, and touches on the plots of the two games only briefly.

Anyway, I hope you'll enjoy getting to know the Ultimate Information Specialist, Oda Satsuki. Please be kind to her!
