[Bungo Stray Dogs] A Love Born of Fireworks

Looks like no one's written Taigojo yet, so I'll be the first, then. You know Ster's a little crazy.

This is a story full of secrets.

Blurb:

When they first met, the little monster with black hair and mismatched eyes was tugging at his expensive clothes, holding an apple candy with obvious reluctance. He had gotten separated from his group.

When they first met, the white-haired divine child with the eyes of the heavens wore an equally expensive white yukata. He looked thoroughly displeased and scanned his surroundings with growing irritation. He had gotten separated too.

The divine child stared at the little monster's apple candy, while the little monster watched his round, wide eyes.

"Hey! Trade with me!" the divine child said.

"What are you offering?" The little monster blinked.

"What do you want?" the divine child asked haughtily.

"Death," the little monster said calmly.

"That won't do." The divine child frowned and folded his arms.

"Then forget it," the little monster said indifferently. He looked at the divine child and took a bite of the apple candy, even though he didn't particularly like it.

The divine child got angry.

But the people looking for him had arrived, and he had to leave. His azure eyes glanced back. "Hey, what's your name? I'm Gojo Satoru."

The fireworks had already risen into the sky, and the crowd grew even thicker.

"Oh, I'm Shuji. Tsushima Shuji." His figure vanished completely into the crowd.

The divine child remembered it clearly.

Many years later, they met again.

"You're Tsushima Shuji? Hmm, that's right." Gojo Satoru asked and answered his own question.

"I'm Dazai Osamu," Dazai said with a smile.

"Whatever your name is, give me back what you owe me." Gojo Satoru stared at him.

"I don't know anything about that."

Many years later, the lovers arrived at the lakeside hand in hand, just as the fireworks began.

Dazai took out an apple candy.

Gojo Satoru looked at it and smiled. "What do you want to trade for it?"

"What do you think it's worth?"

They both knew.

So the white cat found a place and rudely claimed the black cat's territory.

Then put on an innocent face.

What else could be done?

One person can't die for love alone, but two people can.

Ah! Luring all you cuties reading this away!

You read that right, this is [Taigojo], not Gojodazai! It's [Taigojo] [Taigojo] [Taigojo]! Don't ship them the other way around, even though Ster also writes Gojodazai.

Come be tempted: the food here is delicious, really (not really).

Later they'll transmigrate to... (No spoilers.)

Theme: Keep true to the promise made beneath the fireworks.
