A Young Taoist Priestess Came Down from the Mountain [Metaphysics]

Sorry, all you lovely readers. I've revised this story more than ten times, but I still can't write it well or capture the feeling I want. It's really upsetting, and I just can't continue, so updates for this story will be suspended.

Blurb:

Xu Qingming is a spoiled, unruly rich kid who's always been oblivious to his own limits, until one day a little Taoist nun comes to stay with his family.

The little girl is only five or six, dressed in a Taoist robe, with skin as fair as jade and an adorable, soft look. She's impossibly cute, except for her aloof, prematurely mature expression.

Xu Qingming thinks right then that even if she's his father's illegitimate daughter, he wouldn't mind accepting her.

Holding out a lollipop, Xu Qingming tries half threat and half enticement:

"Come on, be a good girl and call me big brother. This candy is yours."

The little girl blinks her cool, indifferent eyes at him as if he's an idiot.

"By seniority, you should call me junior aunt."

Xu Qingming is left reeling. Before he can process that, the little girl adds:

"Besides, I'm already twenty. I'm long past the age of liking candy."

Xu Qingming: "..."

Reading guide:

1. The story is set in an alternate world, with mountains of original worldbuilding.

2. Xu Qingming isn't the male lead. He's just a silly dog.

3. The heroine is already an adult when she first appears.

Theme: Women should be self-reliant
