Feng Ting was a parasitic vine with nothing but good looks. By accident, he found himself inside a storybook he'd only read halfway through.
The bad news was that he'd hit his head and couldn't remember the plot. The good news was that he still remembered the protagonist: a sickly boy near death on the roadside, who would one day become Lingxiao Sword Master, just one step away from ascending to immortality.
A parasitic vine instinctively chooses the strong. Feng Ting rescued the boy, comforted him, helped him heal, and became his best friend.
Years later, the entire cultivation world knew that Feng Ting, elder brother to Lingxiao Sword Master Lu Zhiqiao, was the one untouchable thing in his life.
Not long after, Feng Ting hit his head again and recovered his memories. He remembered that in the story's ending, which he had read, the Sword Master fell.
Feng Ting thought it over, then abandoned Lu Zhiqiao again.
On the day Feng Ting left the cultivation world, Lu Zhiqiao blocked his way with a sword. His eyes reddened as he clung to Feng Ting's sleeve, his fingers twitching uncontrollably. “...Why? I can change. We can change everything.”
Feng Ting answered honestly. “But you're almost of no use to me anymore.”
Lu Zhiqiao's eyelashes trembled.
His hand loosened around Feng Ting's.
When Lu Zhiqiao fell, Feng Ting successfully infiltrated the demon realm and became an insignificant subordinate of his archenemy, the Demon Lord.
He heard that chaos had erupted in the cultivation world, and that a madman who had fallen to demonic cultivation had appeared from nowhere, behaving outrageously and using cruel, merciless methods.
The Demon Lord was interested and wanted to recruit him, but the man simply severed his arm and left him gravely wounded.
The demon realm fell into chaos just like the cultivation world. The demon cultivators feared the man and scattered in every direction to save themselves.
Feng Ting hadn't read this part of the story either, so he ran for his life along with the others.
The pitch-black mountain path stretched on as though it had no end, until at last he emerged into the light.
The Sword Master, once so radiant and noble, stood coldly at the end of the path with his sword in hand. The blazing sunlight illuminated the blood soaking through his long robe, yet the moment his eyes met Feng Ting's, his eyes curved and he smiled harmlessly.
Just as he had years ago, he had been waiting for him in the distance. Lu Zhiqiao dropped the sword in his hand and beckoned to Feng Ting affectionately.
“Big brother, come here.”
“I missed you so, so much. Did you ever miss me?”
When Feng Ting woke from his dream, golden chains bound him, and Lu Zhiqiao held him securely in his arms.
“I'm already the only one, the strongest person in the world... You can't leave me now.”
One-on-one, happy ending.

The One Everyone Hates Has Delusions of Being Loved
Sang Yu was a fake young master everyone hated.
The real young master resented him for stealing his identity. His childhood friend hated his selfish, spoiled behavior. His parents and older brother blamed him for separating them from their own flesh and blood.
In the end, Sang Yu got what he deserved and was hit by a car.
He was reborn on the day before the real young master returned.
This time, Sang Yu adjusted to being the one everyone hated early on.
Everything was fine, except that something was a little wrong with his mind.
He developed dissociative identity disorder and delusions of being loved.
In his fantasies, his romantic partner was the real young master who hated him. Every day, he disgustingly called him “wife” and acted as if he couldn't bear to be apart from him for even a second.
His childhood friend, who despised him, offered up everything he treasured without hesitation, hoping to become his dog.
His older brother, who couldn't stand him, was secretly in love with him and shamelessly pursued him like a homewrecker, without regard for ethics or morality.
They didn't hate him. They loved him to the point of obsession, indulging his every spoiled, selfish, unreasonable whim.
It was the exact opposite of reality.
It was so humiliating, so mortifying.
Sang Yu didn't dare tell anyone he was ill, so he had to force himself to ignore the hallucinations.
He pretended not to see the real young master reaching for his hand, threw his childhood friend's gift straight into the trash, and couldn't help looking at his older brother with disgust.
They were all fake, after all. Sang Yu never forgot the reality that everyone hated him, and he tried to give the most appropriate response. Only when he was alone with his hallucinations did he dare relax and stop keeping himself on edge.
He hooked an arm around the real young master's neck as he kissed him breathless, smiled while opening the love letter his childhood friend had brought him, and accepted his older brother's confession.
After some time, he realized his hallucinations were growing stranger and stranger. Every one of them seemed more like a lunatic than he was.
Sang Yu finally couldn't take it anymore and went to see a doctor.
The doctor said he didn't have dissociative identity disorder.
Being loved wasn't a delusion.
