How Could He Possibly Like Me?

A piece of entertainment-industry gossip: Gu Junqian, president of the Gu Group, has fallen for someone and wants to keep a young lover. Jian Qiushi, who had been secretly in love with him for years, got excited and offered himself that very day. "Hello, Mr. Gu. I know how to keep my mouth shut, and I'm good in bed. I don't need much... Just give me any second male lead role." Gu Junqian was so amused when he received the sudden message that he nearly laughed out loud. Ever since one brief, stunning glimpse of Jian Qiushi at a banquet three months ago, he'd kept him in his heart like a white moonlight. But he couldn't stop himself from asking, "How good can you be?" Jian Qiushi's cheeks flushed, but his voice stayed calm. "Why don't you find out tonight?" Jian Qiushi thought Gu Junqian was only lusting after his looks. He'd stay one more day for as long as he could, before Gu Junqian got tired of him. Gu Junqian thought Jian Qiushi was only after the resources he could provide. He'd make money for one more day for as long as he could, before Jian Qiushi spread his wings and flew away. But three months turned into another three months, and they were still together just like they had been at the start, growing more inseparable by the day... Jian Qiushi: ? Gu Junqian: ? They might have been fine before they had a taste of sweetness, but once they'd had it, they wanted even less to let go. Jian Qiushi went out for drinks with a friend, looking gloomy. "What do I do if I can't leave someone I shouldn't have fallen for?" Gu Junqian wore a troubled expression as he spoke to his friend. "What do I do if I don't want to let go of someone who can never be mine?" The same friend: ? Could you two stop flaunting your love?
