Coming soon: Red Giant
Xia Yun, who reached the peak of his career at eighteen, is a musical prodigy. Famous music critics around the world call him "a musician blessed by the Muse."
Over the seven years since his debut, he has composed hundreds of pieces, including countless masterpieces.
Whenever he's interviewed, he has only one thing to say: "I'm not good with words. Just listen to my music."
Seven years later, rumors spread through the music world that Xia Yun has run out of inspiration.
After years without a proper vacation, Xia Yun finishes his last job before taking time off and falls asleep. When he wakes, he finds himself in an unfamiliar room, with a stranger standing beside the bed.
The young man is slender and green, and points shyly to a fifty-square-meter room filled with musical instruments. "X-Xia Yun, I've liked you for a long time. I spent three years carefully preparing this room for you. Is there anything else you'd like me to change?"
Xia Yun: "Well... the handcuffs and shackles on me?"
"I-I'm sorry." The young man looks remorseful and flustered, his eyes glistening with tears. "I can't do that one."
"What about the security bars on the windows?"
"I'm sorry. I'll replace them with invisible ones tomorrow."
Xu Yiheng has been a fan of Xia Yun for a very long time, though Xia Yun has never known he exists.
The day Xu Yiheng accidentally lost Xia Yun years ago, he felt as though his soul had been torn away. He was distraught every day, until he saw Xia Yun again on a screen, even more dazzling and intense than before.
This year, he wants to spend the next three months of vacation with Xia Yun, who has always seemed so far out of reach.
With the most innocent, harmless appearance, he does the most unbelievable things.
"@Heng: The cold silence after a red giant explodes is where a core forged through countless trials, a white dwarf, is born. //@MusicCriticXXX: The brighter a star, the shorter its life. Xia Yun's musical talent may be like his composition Red Giant, written at the height of his career: blazing and brief, leaving only the remnants to slowly cool after its dazzling explosion."
A sweet, mutually healing story with a focus on everyday life.
Couple: Xia Yun (top) x Xu Yiheng (bottom)
A solitary, untamed, short-tempered musical genius top, and an innocent, straightforward, easily moved-to-tears yandere bottom.
The music industry is fictional, with no real-life models. An alternate universe, all about making music.
[Important] The bottom imprisons the top. The bottom is yandere (but there is no physical or emotional abuse; this is a sweet story).
Theme: When starlight fades, eternity is born
