As the leader of the Villain Group at the transmigration bureau, Yu Ziye failed his mission and was forced to jump off a cliff. He thought he could return to his original world during the fall.
But he kept falling and falling, all the way to the abyss at the bottom, and still couldn't leave the world of the book.
To make matters worse, he crashed into Tingzhou, an evil dragon sealed away in the abyss.
He broke one of Tingzhou's horns.
System: This is bad! The evil dragon's horn is damaged, and it's about to go berserk. You have to stay and calm it down.
Yu Ziye: ...What does that have to do with me? This only happened because you didn't get me back to my original world in time...
System: Not listening! Not listening! Not listening!

With no other choice, Yu Ziye was forced to stay in the abyss and care for Tingzhou for nearly a hundred years.
At last, the day the dragon's horn grew back arrived. Yu Ziye was finally able to complete his mission and return to his original world.
But on the seventh day after Yu Ziye disappeared, the evil dragon Tingzhou broke through the seal, escaped the abyss, and set out to find him.
Yu Ziye, back in his original world, broke down!
He had barely returned to the transmigration bureau when he received a new mission: go back to the world of the book and persuade the evil dragon Tingzhou to return to the abyss.

Yu Ziye's return to the world of the book couldn't have come at a worse time. The various immortal sects were gathered to suppress the evil dragon.
His former mission target, Shen Yunhuan, was there too.
Shen Yunhuan wanted to win back the person he loved.
