Zhao Shiyue had studied yin-yang arts under his master since childhood, but after eighteen years, he still hadn't awakened his ghost sight. All that ghost-catching talent was going to waste.
One day, his master suddenly suggested that he go southwest and find a haunted-house amusement park. Its owner reportedly looked just like an ordinary person, wasn't afraid of sunlight or talismans, and would be perfect for awakening his ghost sight.
But Zhao Shiyue was worried. How was he supposed to catch a ghost who wasn't afraid of talismans? Was he supposed to reason with it and talk about his feelings?

One day,
Zhao Shiyue finally managed to lie in wait for Qiao Mobei, the ghost. He rushed up and flung a handful of talismans at him, then rattled off a string of incantations.
Nothing happened.
Qiao Mobei: "..."
Zhao Shiyue: "Mr. Qiao, I'm here to reason with you. Ah, no, I mean I'm here to talk about our feelings."
Qiao Mobei: "???"
Zhao Shiyue: "Ah, no... I mean, I'm here to apply for a job. Are you hiring at your park?"
Qiao Mobei: "We are. The Medium's Haunted House needs an NPC. You're hired."
Zhao Shiyue: "..."

Later, the new live-action NPC at the Medium's Haunted House successfully charmed the owner of the haunted-house amusement park.
But according to well-informed ghosts, it was clearly their boss who was pursuing the new NPC at the Medium's Haunted House!!!
