[A story about reporting everything to the authorities] Thanks for asking! This fragile college student had just left the hospital when the interstellar mainframe selected her and sent her to the Interstellar Alliance. She introduced herself: “Human intern representative Lin Ting reporting for duty!” The poor girl with a broken bone lay on the ground and opened her eyes to look around. Beside her stood all sorts of unusually handsome giants, dwarves, and other humanoid beings... “Welcome, interns from afar. I'm Raven, deputy of the First Planet and your direct supervisor during your internship.” Lin Ting: ...This deputy with the cold voice, dark green eyes, and long hair is a humanoid... tree person? This is bad! What does a college student like her, who just wants to coast through life and hasn't even graduated, know about interstellar diplomacy? And she's supposed to represent humanity? Who does she think she is? After a moment of agonized self-loathing... She had to report everything to the authorities! * Upcoming novel: The Daoist Doctor's Laid-Back Life in the Seventies The Zhu family at the foot of Yuntai Mountain had practiced Daoist medicine for generations, but by the time it reached Zhu Shi'an's generation, the tradition was almost lost.
