Poor but enterprising money-loving bottom x ethereal, beautiful fox-demon top

Nan Xu is hit by a little stone that falls from the sky and transported to the demon realm, where he is bound to an inn deep in the mountains. The inn's buildings are dilapidated.

[Ding! Main quest 1: Repair the inn buildings.]

Nan Xu picks up an iron axe and chops trees all day.

[Ding! Main quest 2: Attract a guest.]

Nan Xu stands by the entrance and welcomes a fledgling that has fallen onto his head with a smile. "Welcome."

[Ding! Main quest 3: Hire an employee.]

Nan Xu sits dejectedly by the roadside for n days, until a fox-demon man passes by. He lunges over and grabs the man's leg.

Got one cool, handsome fox-demon employee!

-

Starting with a crumbling hut, he works hard in the mountains to survive, repairing the building, growing crops, raising chickens, and upgrading the inn, welcoming more and more strange guests.

Chu Yushan towers into the clouds. According to an ancient legend, almost no demon can fly over its peaks. Then an inn appears on the mountain, run by a fair-skinned young human man who looks especially delicious. The little demons who covet him are plagued by nightmares at night.

-

A few years later, more and more demons move to the once-desolate Chu Yushan.

A gluttonous bird-demon who heads the publicity department but can't cook.

A socially anxious hedgehog spirit obsessed with growing medicinal herbs.

A wild boar spirit who's great at farm work.

Everything goes smoothly, except that the guests' requests seem a little tricky:

The Jade Rabbit spirit pinches its ears. "I heard spicy rabbit heads are delicious. Can I try one?"

The Rainbow Cloud demon looks full of anticipation. "The inn's description says the beds are as soft as clouds. Is that true?"

The black bear spirit scratches his head, blushing shyly. "Could you send that fox-demon from your inn to my room tonight?"

Nan Xu looks toward Tingchuan, watering the vegetables in the backyard with his fox tail swishing. Ah, so the "innkeeper's wife" is a real fox demon!
