This story rejects Stockholm syndrome. After being reborn, the recipient absolutely will not fall in love with the scumbag seme, though he will pretend otherwise in the middle and later parts of the story. The recipient has suffered psychological trauma, so some readers might find him melodramatic, but he is definitely not weak. The story is set in the entertainment industry. My personal plan is for a bad ending, but that may change depending on where the story goes.
