The case caused a huge public outcry in law enforcement circles at the time.
With a new person inside, Ouyang Ruirui declared: “I’ll eat anything except a loss. Every murder case will be solved, and every grudge will be avenged.”

Xiang Chi was a former undercover officer in charge of the major crimes unit. He thought little of the beautiful new forensic intern.
Whenever a colleague mentioned Ouyang, he would raise an eyebrow and say, “Her?” His mocking smile was infuriating, as if Ouyang had nothing going for her but her looks.
Ouyang Ruirui ignored him.
The next day, Xiang Chi was attacked in retaliation by a criminal. Ouyang showed up in time and asked him with her fists, “What about me?”
