The young emperor: "???" From then on, the young emperor leads a double life. By day, he looks at the cold-faced regent and grinds his teeth in anger. By night, he looks at the tyrant who grants his every wish and enjoys himself immensely. He's doomed. He might end up with a split personality. 3. One day, at the morning court, Regent Xiao Rongmo talks back to the young emperor again. The great general: "I've already assembled the troops. Just give the order, Your Majesty, and I'll go confiscate his property right now." The young emperor thinks it over. True, he's been letting the man get away with too much lately. "It's time to settle the score," he says sternly to the general. "No need to confiscate his property. Bring him to the palace." The general rubs his hands together excitedly. "Right, to the secret prison! I'll put him through all eighteen kinds of torture, one after another." "No," says the young emperor. "Bring him to my bedchamber." The general: "? What... what for?" The young emperor curls his lips and declares, "To attend me in bed." The great general: "!!!" A tyrant's little scene: I've been dreaming every night lately.
