The Princess and Her False Minister

Ji Qiongluo was breathtakingly beautiful, with a delicate, graceful bearing. As the eldest legitimate princess of the Ji Dynasty and the emperor's only child, she was surrounded by wolves in a kingdom on the brink of collapse.

The noble clans cursed Yin Xiu in private: "That scoundrel Yin Xiu may be a member of Her Highness's maternal clan, but his methods are vicious. He harbors traitorous ambitions and is a false subject."

Yet Ji Qiongluo, in her extravagantly luxurious palace, remained unmoved by the rumors, surrounded by silken robes and jeweled ornaments.

Her eyes trembled slightly as she looked at Yin Xiu's gaunt face.

He gently brushed a fingertip over her lip rouge, then knelt and kissed her jade-white foot. "I am by nature cold and callous, yet for Your Highness, I would cast aside my pride."

Before a million troops, Yin Xiu flew into a rage, but his heart was already in utter disarray...
