After Inheriting the Ancestral Taoist Temple

Yu Jiu inherits her family's Taoist temple.

It's a tiny temple, and the one enshrined there isn't an immortal lord but a Ghost Lord.

After becoming its abbot, Yu Jiu first repairs the dilapidated statue of the ghost god, then resolves to grow the temple's incense offerings in a big way.

Little does the newly appointed Lord of the Underworld know that he'll soon be receiving all kinds of strange prayers.

*

[Spring. The peach blossoms haven't opened yet. Can you, Lord of the Underworld, arrange a match?]

[Summer. A little cat down the mountain is pregnant. I wonder which stray fathered her kittens.]

[Autumn. Lord of the Underworld, if I don't make money soon, your follower is going to starve to death.]

[Winter. It's snowing on the mountain. I hear people who watch the snow together will stay together until their hair turns white.]

Yu Jiu leads her little temple to flourishing success.

One day, a guest greeter dressed in red arrives at the temple.

The man gives Yu Jiu's specially made statue of the blue-faced, fanged ghost god an amused look and says, "You've got some nerve."

Yu Jiu: ...No one told me the Lord of the Prison of Justice would be this handsome!

Easygoing, mischievous bottom x incredibly formidable top
