Grandma left Natsume Sakurako and her older brother a Book of Friends.

It recorded the names of many of Grandma's yokai friends.

They say whoever gets the Book of Friends can command every yokai listed in it, gain immense power, and rule the world.

Her brother did not want to rule the world, so he worked hard to return the names in the Book of Friends to their owners.

But Natsume Sakurako wanted friends, lots of friends.

So she began following in Grandma's footsteps, working hard to make a Book of Friends of her own.

Today, Sakurako made lots of new yokai friends, and she was very happy.

Her brother was happy for her too. Smiling, he asked, "What are the names of the friends Sakurako made?"

Sakurako opened her Book of Friends, decorated with a cover full of pink bubbles, and carefully read it aloud to her older brother, Natsume, one word at a time. "Blueberry Yogurt."

"Boss Muzan, King of Demons."

"The Lord of Hitomi Castle."

"Mr. Kirihito."

"Mogami Keiji."

"The Assistant Manager of Hell."

Natsume: "...???"

The calico lucky cat teacher was so startled he jumped up. "Aaaaaah! Sakurako, throw that thing away!"

Natsume reminded his little sister with a worried look, "Maybe, just maybe, Sakurako could try making some human friends?"

Sakurako nodded obediently.

That very night, she obediently brought out the updated Book of Friends, with its newly added names.

"Dazai."

"5t5."

"Uncle Mori."

"The Liquor Company's Model Employee."

"Mr. Jin'er."

"Mr. Fyodor Dostoyevsky, the Kind Russian."

This seemed much more normal. Even though one foreign name had slipped in, her brother was still relieved.

That is, until he met Sakurako's friends in person.

Natsume Sakurako (starry-eyed): "I've been trying hard to follow Grandma's example and make new friends!"

Natsume (rubbing his forehead): "Grandma, wherever your spirit may be, please stop teaching Sakurako weird things..."

"Harumi, be honest. Are you some kind of experimental subject who escaped from a secret organization, or do you have Kryptonian or Saiyan blood?"

After losing to Atobe Harumi for the one thousand and first time in a hand-to-hand combat training exercise, Matsuda Jinpei grabbed her with a look of utter despair and asked.

"My family background? I'm the young lady of the Atobe conglomerate."

"Life was too boring when I could get anything I wanted because my family had so much money, so I came out to experience the joys of living differently."

"My current life plan is to become a police officer."

At first, nobody believed her. Under the overwhelming gap in strength, they had long since stopped caring that Atobe Harumi was a girl. They all complained that their longtime buddy had not been honest with them.

That was until Harumi invited them to her family's mansion for her birthday party. Its decor rivaled Buckingham Palace.

Everyone: "..."

So she really hadn't been lying at all!

Hagiwara Kenji: "Miss, does your family need bodyguards?"

Matsuda Jinpei: "Miss, does your family need security guards?"

Furuya Rei: "Miss, what criminal in this world could possibly require you to catch them yourself?!"

From childhood onward, Atobe Keigo had always thought his little sister was the most dazzling girl in the world, and one who needed her big brother's affection. No exceptions.

His sister had been unusually strong from a young age. When she was little and went to horseback riding lessons, she worried the horses would get too tired, so she picked one up and ran with it.

Atobe Keigo thought his little sister was so considerate of animals. How dazzling.

His sister had incredible stamina and powers of observation. When she was practicing tennis with a junior from his club, she hit the ball so hard it got embedded in the ground.

Atobe Keigo thought his little sister had quite a talent for tennis too. How dazzling.

When the siblings were unexpectedly kidnapped by criminals, his little sister beat every villain in the blink of an eye, then expressionlessly lifted their car and smashed it flat on the ground to make an example of them.

Atobe Keigo thought his little sister was truly...
