This Beta Is Way Too Laid-Back

[My Life Took a Sudden Turn is now open for collection. Please add it to your reading list~] Jiang Chen is a bona fide Beta. His grades are average, and he lives a thoroughly laid-back life. Every day, he's either sleepy or on his way to getting sleepy, always looking half-asleep. He has a childhood friend, Gu Xin, an Alpha with excellent grades who has held the top spot in their year for ages. Not long after the start of their first year of high school, Gu Xin receives a love letter from the Omega school beauty. Jiang Chen leans limply against his back, opens his peach-blossom eyes, which are often heavy with sleep, and speaks at Gu Xin's ear in a sarcastic tone. “Gu Xin, another love letter?” Gu Xin's ears turn hot. He reaches back and lightly presses Jiang Chen's head. “Stand up straight.” The bottom is a little gloomy, a little laid-back, and a little goofy. The scariest part is that the top indulges him. An Alpha-Beta romance, with no turning into an Omega. A super-sweet school romance with mutual feelings and a slice-of-life feel. We don't encourage high schoolers to date, so the leads won't get together until they're both 18~~ - Completed work: A Lovely Lady [From Ancient Times to the Modern Day].
