After All, I'm Just a Beta [Female Beta, Male Omega]

Lian Xia has a childhood friend.

From the first moment she saw him as a child, Lian Xia knew this guy would grow up to be an Omega: clingy, pretty, and a crybaby. He fit the type perfectly.

As for Lian Xia, she was just an ordinary Beta.

So, before high school started, she found her childhood friend and said, “Once we're at school, let's pretend we don't know each other.”

Her childhood friend looked like a pitiful little puppy abandoned by its owner and kept pestering her to explain why.

Lian Xia: Why don't you think about what you've done?

I was the one who stepped in to stop the Alpha who picked a fight with you. I was the one who turned away the classmate asking for your contact information. When you failed an exam, the teacher even spoke to me first to protect the fragile feelings of an Omega...

What a pain!

But saying all that would definitely make her childhood friend cry.

Lian Xia could only take a deep breath and smile. “I'm just a Beta, after all, and you're a precious Omega. Someday, you'll meet the Alpha meant for you.”

Unexpectedly, her childhood friend still cried after hearing that.

“Then I don't want an Alpha. Xia, you're not allowed to have another Beta either.”

Lian Xia: ??

Hello?

Why don't you listen to what you're saying?

It wasn't until much later that Lian Xia realized her childhood friend's words might not have been a joke.

★ The male lead is a typical Omega: clingy, spoiled, and proud. At first, he has a vague possessiveness toward the female lead. Later, once he understands his feelings, he stands up for himself and actively resists the influence of pheromones.

★ The female lead is an honest, ordinary Beta who just wants to live a peaceful life.
