Luckily, the old book really does have mysterious powers. The good-luck charms I made with it attracted a huge crowd of visitors, and the Himori Shrine flourished once more!

But as its popularity grew, I discovered that the old well in the small shrine at the back of the grounds began glowing faintly at night, as if drawing in those destined to approach it.

Of course, I won't do something stupid like the protagonist in a horror movie and explore a place that's obviously dangerous. The only thing to do is put a fence around the shrine and add a lock! I'd rather die than go inside! Becoming a popular shrine's head priestess and living peacefully is the right path!

If only that idiot phantom thief hadn't come along, things should have stayed that way!

But there are no ifs. That guy and I were forced to embark on a journey to another world and search for a way back.
