He heard her ask, "Have we met somewhere before?"

Xu Yingdong looked at her in silence for a long while, then curled his lips into a smile. "We've done more than meet."

And... slept together.

P.S.:

1. The early part of the story takes place in a small seaside town.

2. The heroine has bipolar disorder, and her emotions are hard to control. The hero has had an ex, but when he meets the heroine, he is unattached in both body and heart. There are some melodramatic elements, so be warned if that's not your thing.

The next second, the puppy looked at her with shining eyes. "Then you take responsibility for me."

Ye Xin: "..." So everything she'd said was for nothing.

Ye Xin smiled. "As if I wouldn't."

"Otherwise..."

The puppy answered the unfinished words with his actions.
