Because the underworld officials failed to do their jobs, Liang Zhi, whose lifespan in the mortal world had not yet run out, had no choice but to transmigrate from the life of a modern office drone into the body of a young lady from a distinguished family in ancient times, whose lifespan had already ended.
The original owner had a melancholy temperament, but Liang Zhi was an easygoing optimist who thought everything only needed to be good enough. After transmigrating, the young lady, who had been like Lin Daiyu, became a lazy, goofy girl who could eat and drink to her heart's content. The entire Liang family was left dumbfounded.
Who would have thought Liang Zhi would love her life as a freeloader at home so much that she accidentally became the ancient equivalent of an older unmarried woman? Her parents were so worried that they hastily arranged a match for her.
On the day of the meeting, Liang Zhi glanced at the fool of a playboy across from her and sighed inwardly. She wouldn't mind going to his home and continuing to freeload, but she wondered whether his family could afford to feed two of them...

Dong Rao was the most doted-on youngest son in his family. His father and eldest brother handled the marquis's household, while his mother took care of their vast fortune. All he had to do was wander around at leisure, drink tea, listen to stories, and laze his days away. The last thing he wanted was a wife to keep him in line.
But his mother wouldn't stand for it! People outside were saying that no respectable family would let their daughter marry him. It was a great embarrassment to his mother, so she insisted on taking him around to meet potential brides.
Dong Rao had planned to hide out at one of their country estates for a while, but he failed to escape. On the day of the meeting, though, he suddenly changed his mind.
Heh, it was her!
