Pretending to Be My Rival in Love for 100 Days!

Jiao Tang dreamed he was a cannon-fodder supporting character in a school-life BL novel about youthful angst, Let's Watch the Thunderstorm Together.

He'd poured his heart and soul into chasing the protagonist's love interest for over three months, but still hadn't won him over.

Of course, it wasn't because Jiao Tang wasn't good enough. The protagonist's love interest was childhood friend Xing Guanzhi, the campus heartthrob whom everyone at school called "Big Brother."

The protagonist was Hu Lishen, a new transfer student in their class.

His good buddy Xing Guanzhi couldn't possibly be gay, and there was no way Jiao Tang could lose to him!

To prove whether the dream was real, he disguised himself as the protagonist's rival in love and tested things out a million times:

When the protagonist played basketball, Jiao Tang brought him water.

When the protagonist felt unwell, Jiao Tang took him to the infirmary.

When the protagonist went to eat, Jiao Tang camped out at a different restaurant every day...

Just as expected, Xing Guanzhi flew into a rage.

But something about the situation seemed a little off...

After Jiao Tang brought the water, Xing Guanzhi threatened that from then on, Jiao Tang could only watch him play basketball.

He went to the infirmary too, and ran into Xing Guanzhi on the way. For some reason, they got into a fight, and the protagonist nearly got beaten into the hospital.

As for the protagonist's match... Jiao Tang had barely shouted a few words of encouragement before Xing Guanzhi swept him up in his arms and carried him away.

Jiao Tang: ...Is it really okay to leave your future wife behind like that?

"I'm angry."

In the dimly lit sports equipment room, Xing Guanzhi set his childhood friend down on a padded mat and threatened him in a low, ominous voice:

"Kiss me now, and I might consider letting him go."

Jiao Tang: ...What?
