I Want to Have a Rather Sinister Romance

He Yunzhi is the famous rich, handsome man of the Underworld, holding an important post in the Administration Bureau.

At a joint conference between Heaven and Earth, he beat up a divine official and even pulled down someone's pants. Countless ghosts and gods reported him in writing and demanded severe punishment!

Rumor has it that he enforces the law with his fists and never wastes words when he can throw a punch. Criminal ghosts turn pale at the sight of him and hurry out of his way.

Word spreads through the Underworld: Please, is there anyone in Heaven or on Earth who can keep him in check?!

As it turns out, there is.

He Yunzhi has a sworn enemy known to every ghost and god: An Rushan, Director of the Office of Yin Law.

Whenever the two are in the same place, even the coldest corner of the Underworld fills with the smell of gunpowder!

By a stroke of bad luck, the King of Hell, Chairman of the Underworld Council, assigns An Rushan to supervise He Yunzhi as he works off his sentence in the mortal realm.

And to make matters worse, the two keep fighting from the Underworld all the way to the human world. Neither can stand the other.

Just when He Yunzhi thinks he'll never make it back to the Underworld, his sworn enemy, always so meticulous, steady, and inscrutable, pins him down, pulls loose his perfectly smooth tie, and tosses a thick stack of complaint letters at him.

When He Yunzhi opens them, he finds they're all letters he wrote, complaining about An Rushan's poor work.

"Want to go back to the Underworld? Then don't sleep tonight. I'll let you go when you've finished reading every letter."

He Yunzhi doesn't get a wink of sleep. Whenever he starts to nod off while reading, An Rushan gently squeezes the back of his neck.

"Good. Keep reading."

Polite He Yunzhi: Screw you.

#The gong died in the 1980s, and has a bit of an old-school, no-nonsense vibe

#Past and present lives, lots of melodrama, but also a little sweet!

#There's both plot and romance
