My Boss Is a Classic Idiot CEO

Jin Manman transmigrates into a collection of old-fashioned, brainless CEO romance novels, where every family has a surname like Lin, Su, Gu, Shen, Bai, or Lu, babies come in batches of N, and physics-defying, IQ-lowering plots are everywhere. Her job is to be personal assistant to CEO Gu Nanjiang.

Jin Manman's daily duties include reciting lines:

“Go on, Mr. Gu won't see you.”

“I haven't seen Mr. Gu smile in ages.”

“Mr. Gu's stomach condition is acting up. Miss Lin, could you come see him?”

Putting on a money-throwing performance:

“Mr. Gu says you should take this money and go as far away as possible. Don't come back.”

“Actually, I work for Mr. Gu's mother. She asked me to give you this check. Go as far away as possible and don't come back.”

“Mr. Gu says this money will buy your son from you!”

Every day, Jin Manman felt like her intelligence was being insulted!

Until one night, when the exhausted CEO rubbed his brow and berated her for being heartless. He really did drive away the woman he loved, then flung a severance check for five hundred thousand dollars at her. Only then did Jin Manman tremble and bow her way out.

“Of course, Mr. Gu. It's all my fault. I'll leave right now.”

What kind of brainless CEO is this? He's practically her personal ATM!

On the first day after transmigrating, Jin Manman recalled the plot: land in the eastern development district would skyrocket in value, a movie starring an actor currently stuck in bit parts would become a hit, and the king-green jadeite rough discarded by the male and female leads during an argument could be picked up for a song.

While the CEO and his darling acted out their “she runs, he chases, she has nowhere to hide” drama, Jin Manman gazed at her account balance of more than 180 million dollars from the penthouse of a luxury apartment building in the city center, with a signed merger contract worth over twenty billion dollars beside her.

Jin Manman gave a cold smile, one part nonchalance, three parts aloofness, and five parts derision.

“Hah. Being a CEO is nothing special.”

Gu Nanjiang was reborn.

In his previous life, he had bought eleven nuclear warheads and set them off like fireworks to make the woman he loved happy.

This time, he rubbed his head and thought it felt a little itchy, as if he were about to grow a brain.
