The young man who had suddenly appeared kept a wary eye on them, half-hidden in the shadows at the end of Diagon Alley.
His fine, curly black hair fell around his ears.
It was clear that the wand in his sleeve was ready, held at the alert.
Walburga let out a scream.
There was no reason for it.
The moment she saw him, he struck her right in her weakest spot.
He was the child she had lost thirteen years ago.
Sirius Black.
Even in the original story, although young Sirius went to Gryffindor, his Black family traits would sometimes show through. I've often wondered whether Sirius rebelled against his family and became the opposite of a Slytherin. If he had left home as a child, would he have grown up to be a Black in the purest sense? A completely and utterly Slytherin Black?
A totally out-of-character self-indulgent fantasy, centered on Sirius, probably with no pairing.
