My Paper Doll and I Got Our Happy Ending

*Older woman/younger man, plus a possible raising-him trope (?)

*Blurb:

Yin Zhu has recently become obsessed with a game.

She created a male character, customizing his model and face to suit her tastes until she had a paper-doll character who perfectly matched her aesthetic, then used him as her game account.

She named him "Zhu Yin."

Yin Zhu became hopelessly addicted to the game. Not only did she spend money on Zhu Yin, she also taught him step by step how to build his own business empire.

From the youngest, least-favored son of the Zhu family to the most powerful big shot, every step of the way was one they took together.

After achieving everything he could want, Yin Zhu planned to quit the game, but was caught in a shipwreck.

When she woke up, she found herself inside the game.

She looked up and unexpectedly met Zhu Yin's gaze as he stared intently at her.

Yin Zhu: "..."

*

Yin Zhu had thought of herself and her paper-doll character as mother and son, since she had created him.

So when he wanted to take care of every aspect of her life, she didn’t refuse, including but not limited to:

For travel, he provided the best routes and services.

For food, he hired a five-star chef to prepare dishes just for her.

For clothes, he got her the latest designer fashions and exclusive custom pieces from top designers.

And much, much more.

As a result, people were always mistaking them for a couple.

Yin Zhu teased him, "Why don't you clear things up? I don't mind, but if people keep saying this, we'll never be able to convince them otherwise."

Zhu Yin paused as he peeled an apple for her, then said quietly,

"I have nothing to clear up."

Yin Zhu wondered if she’d heard him wrong and looked at him in surprise. His long fingers tightened around the fruit knife, as if he’d made up his mind.

The next moment, Zhu Yin turned and handed her the peeled apple.

His voice was dry with nerves and even shook a little, but his outstretched hand was steady.

"What they say is true."

"I really do like you."

"...?!"

The apple fell from Yin Zhu's hand.
