Blurb:
When Wu Xun first started college, his life was as orderly as could be. He went to bed promptly at ten every night and had no nightlife whatsoever. He never went anywhere without his health-boosting goji berries and his big tea mug. He had only just come of age, yet he was already living the quiet retirement life of an old man.
Strangely, despite all his healthy habits, Wu Xun was always sleepy and had dark circles under his eyes day after day.
His classmates couldn't make sense of it.
Only Wu Xun knew that every night at ten, no matter where he was, he would fall into one bizarre dream after another.
They were dreams of other people's past lives, and everyone in them attended the same academy as he did.
No one knew that in his dreams he battled evil spirits and contended with the darkness in people's hearts. He was nothing like his usual listless, mild-mannered self. That was until the person who had been his equal in the dreams transferred to his school in real life.
He had crossed countless fields of bones, yet all he could think was that this dream would never end.
Because where there is evil in this world, there are dreams like these.
Until one day, he no longer wanted to dream.
Eternal night descended, and the demons' whispers swept across the land:
"If you won't come into the dream, I'll come find you in reality."

"The Bureau of Nonhuman Affairs" by Yan Shu
[Apocalypse] [Superpowers] [Younger Man]
Blurb:
After years of being a laid-back civil servant at the Bureau of Nonhuman Affairs, Shi Jin heard they were expanding the staff. He had thought a secure job like this, where he could coast along until retirement unless he got killed off, would be highly sought after. He never expected to run into a brick wall right out of the gate.
"The Bureau of Nonhuman Affairs is a supernatural crime-fighting agency that handles anything beyond the law and inexplicable by natural science." Shi Jin looked over the man in front of him, Qu Yihuai, and was quite pleased.
Qu Yihuai looked him over too, raised an eyebrow, and asked with a half-smile, "So what do you do?"
Shi Jin hadn't expected him to be so unimpressed, so he explained again:
"Anything that natural science can't solve falls within my jurisdiction."
No one knew that Qu Yihuai had someone hidden in his heart.
That person had saved him from danger twice many years ago and changed the course of his life, only to erase his memories each time. He had carefully tucked away both his childhood admiration and the feelings of his youth, until that person came to him again.
"Oh." When he looked up again, his eyes were as still as a deep pool. He casually fished some loose change from his pocket. "Then tell my fortune. What does love have in store for me?"
