Exorcist

Six hundred years ago, the seal between the human and demon realms broke, and countless monsters poured into the human world.

The Demon King, Mo Yan, vanished without a trace, his soul scattered.

Shen Qingzhou, an exorcist, set out to resurrect the former Demon King, traveling far and wide to hunt demons and find the scattered fragments of his soul.

When they met again, what stood between them was not only six hundred years of separation, but also a buried hatred.

"Isn't everything I'm going through now your fault? Why should I go with you?" Mo Yan's emotionless voice echoed through the empty space.

A life for a life. I have never regretted it.

"A-Zhou, live well. You don't need to worry about me anymore." Mo Yan's gentle expression threw Shen Qingzhou into confusion for a moment. With a light push, Shen Qingzhou drifted down like a helpless leaf in the breeze, sinking into endless darkness.

Live? How?

Shen Qingzhou gave a self-mocking laugh. Pain twisted his bitter expression as black energy surged in his eyes. Demonic energy ran rampant, devouring the sky and earth and corroding all life. With a half-smile and a cold, shadowed expression, he asked, "Mo Yan, tell me, how am I supposed to live?"
