I'm the Real Shinigami (Detective Conan)

To investigate the cause of his childhood friend's death, Police Officer Matsuda Jinpei joins Investigation Division One, Unit Three, for seven days. He has to catch the killer who murdered Hagi! As Inspector Megure introduces him to everyone, Matsuda Jinpei immediately spots someone in the crowd, sleeping with a hat covering his face He can't believe anyone would show off like that right in front of him! Yuelong is a rising star of a police inspector who proudly describes himself as a lazy couch potato. His slothful attitude and excellent professional skills are as far apart as the Mariana Trench is deep. What he hates most is work, and what he hates even more is work outside his own responsibilities If he knew that covering his face with a hat while sleeping would bring him seven days of trouble, he would surely, take off his hat, lower his eyes, take notes, and go back to sleep. Still, this guy... compared to the colleagues at the Metropolitan Police Department whose work ethic is as if they haven't been paid in years, he's much better. If only he didn't have that enormous, bright red "7" over his head. "Boom!" Matsuda Jinpei never thought he would open his eyes again. When the white light before him faded, he realized he was still inside the Ferris wheel cabin. He could even pass right through the cabin door and float at the height of the passenger car, looking down at the night view. He even saw Inspector Yuelong, usually so lazy, looking up at him. For once, he had taken off his glasses. His eyes were hidden behind his hair, and he seemed somewhat sad. They had spent only seven days together, yet they had become friends. And now he had died in front of his friend. That's right, he was already dead Not only had he failed to find the killer who murdered Hagiwara Kenji, but he had gotten himself killed too... Still, he believed Inspector Yuelong was capable enough to avenge both him and Hagi! "Name of deceased: Matsuda Jinpei; time of death: unclear, flagged as abnormal; age at death: 26, flagged as normal; cause of death: died instantly in an explosion, flagged as normal; soul retrieval status: retrieval failed, flagged as abnormal." "Recorder: Yuelong, Chief Director of the East Asia Division, Special-Class Grim Reaper." He heard his friend's voice, unusually solemn, say this. Matsuda Jinpei: ? Huh? Main character is the pursuer, and the pairing is Matsuda Jinpei! There will be a resurrection, yes, there will, mm! Everyday-life focused, very slow burn. Theme: Life is the most precious thing
