I Didn't Want My B&B to Become a Hit

My completed novel, I Kept Myself Alive by Running a Restaurant, is available in my author profile!

Blurb:

At last, Xixi, a laid-back woman, saved up enough retirement money at the age of twenty-six and proudly retired. She couldn't wait to go back to her hometown and laze around. To keep the neighbors from "worrying" about her too much, she hung a guesthouse sign on the old house, saying she had only come back to pursue her dreams and get away from the hustle and bustle of the world, not to laze around!

Opening day: no guests. Great!

Second day: no guests. Perfect!

First year in business: the guesthouse was packed with visitors who had come from far and wide, and became famous across the world. Why? How did that happen?

Yu Xixi didn't understand!

Wasn't she supposed to be enjoying a leisurely retirement? How had she ended up with a bunch of strange employees, a guesthouse that kept getting more famous, and more and more responsibilities? A special department even gave her a commemorative banner: "Thank you, Boss Yu Xixi, for creating so many jobs for special groups."

Special groups?

Did they mean the boy who never ate or slept and was always falling apart, yet somehow kept going nonstop?

Or the yellow-haired kid who kept sprouting a tail and ears?

Or those beautiful, exquisite spirits who were overlooked gems in the entertainment industry?

Anyway, that super-handsome glutton who kept sticking to her and ruining her chances to laze around was definitely part of a special group. =_=

Since all these spirits and monsters had shown up at her door, they could work. No one was going to stand in the way of Yu Xixi's lazy retirement!

A day-to-day story about running a business, with demons, monsters, cute creatures, and delicious food!
