Who could have guessed that he would eventually succeed in running away, only a little too well: he landed in another world.

Luckily, his starter pack was Jin Freecss, who likes (studying) nonhumans. Jin explained how this world worked, taught him how to grow stronger, and eventually became his teacher.

Unluckily, he had amnesia.

In this world, Hunters with a taste for adventure are everywhere, and the unique power known as Nen can work countless miracles:

saved the Kurta clan, whose scarlet eyes are one of the world's seven great beauties,

and made a pact with a monster from the Dark Continent...

Raising kids, healing the sick, exploring ruins, and competing for treasure: life in another world grew more exciting by the day. Danger and madness were his constant companions, but growing stronger was a comrade he could never let down.

I have traveled across countless continents and seen every facet of humanity. And then I remembered you.

Only then did I realize that I had already abandoned the precious thing I had once sought so desperately.

P.S. Content warnings:

My original inspiration was Rimbaud, played by young Leonardo DiCaprio in Total Eclipse. I also drew inspiration from What Should I Do After Becoming Verlaine? by San Qianshi.

1. Important: updates are irregular!!! Lots of original headcanons, and the characters may be out of character.

Transmigration and amnesia mean Verlaine will change a lot. I'm also very biased toward the protagonist and will give him cheat abilities.

2. Look at the title: romance is not the main plot of this story!!!

The protagonist's love interest appears occasionally, apart from at the beginning, and won't make another proper appearance until near the end of the main story.

3. The protagonist is the pursuer. I ship Verlaine and Rimbaud in Bungo Stray Dogs: [Bungo Stray Dogs] Paul Verlaine x Arthur Rimbaud. They are close friends and partners.

4. In this story, Verlaine gradually comes to understand his feelings after transmigrating and decides to pursue Arthur. Arthur Rimbaud had a lover before becoming a spy and faking his death (at age 15). As for everything else, wait for the original work to update and prove me wrong.

5. The characters' values do not represent the author's. Everyone has their own tastes, so if you don't like it, please stop reading in time, dear.
